Diagnoza

The protoconch is coiled up like a hook. The highest point on the shell is roughly in the middle, a little flatter towards the front than the back. The shell is covered with approx. 43 radial ribs, those in front are stronger and wider. They are crossed by only slightly weaker concentric ribs (lattice-like sculpture). The crossing points of both are slightly humped.

Porównanie

The upper Callovian Symmetrocapulus cancellatina Gründel, 1998 and mid Bathonian "possible coculinoid limpet" Kaim, 2010 are more elongated, their apex is located further forward and the radial ribs are more numerous. The Bathonian Scurriopsis bathonica (Cox & Arkell, 1950) sensu Fischer 1969 also has more numerous radial ribs and a more pronounced crossing points of stronger and weaker ribs.
