Diagnosis. - Elements of the apparatus with blade-like, adentic ulated processes. Remarks. - Morphologically similar elements occur also in the ozarkodinid family Oistodontidae. Nevertheless, the sp-oz locations in the oistodontids are occupied by biramous elements while the pi elements are triramous (instead of tetraramous in the new prioniodontid family Acodontidae), at the best a fourth rudimentary crest develops.
