Diagnoza

The P₂ elements with a strongly convex profile of the base, gracile elements with obliquely cut bases and angularly bent cusps.

Porównanie

Elements of the species are generally more gracile than those of C. longibasis, the most characteristic feature is the shape of their bases.

Autekologia

Występowanie geograficzne

Baltic area and  the Carnic Alps.
Irregularly occurring in Mójcza. 

Zasięg czasowy

Llanvirn (Baltic area), Ashgill (Carnic Alps), from 0.5 m above the discontinuity (E.robustus Subzone) to 1.2 m above the bentonite (A. tvaerensis Zone)(Mójcza).
