Gatunek typowy

Opis

Type species: Globulitopa rotundata Gründel, 1998; late Bathonian of borehole Kłęby 1/37.
The shell is compact, almost as wide as it is high; protoconch with approximately two coils, smooth; the teleoconch largely without sculpture, with apical concavity; base with umbilical perforation and several spirals; aperture broadly oval with abapical rounding, almost at right angle to the parietal and columellar part of the teleoconch.
