Diagnoza

Crest forms a broad lateral expansion, greatly extending the outline of the marginal plate.No undercut channel. Lateral surfaces lack any traces of articulation contact.

Porównanie

The large distance between the marginals and the unique type of lateral contact between marginals. Ventral disc structure indicates strong links to Platycycloides. The structure of isolated skeletal elements suggest that the whole skeleton was very open in construction.

Only known from the type locality.

Middle Frasnian, early Palmatolepis hassi to early Palmatolepis rhenana Zones.
