Porównanie

Differs from Reticuloceras reticulatum (Phillips) by the fineness of the network formed by the transverse and spiral streaks, the latter tending to locate in the region of the tongue, hence the gradual disappearance of the crenulation, except in this same region of the tongue; this one more accentuated, raised and better demarcated .

Zasięg czasowy

Carboniferous; Kinderscoutian-middle R2 (315-314.8 Ma); in Poland only Namurian, above Homoceratoides.
