Gatunek typowy Opis The shell with slender spire ornamented by spiral lines crossed by more or less inclined and discontinuous axial ribs, strongest on the median corner where they form a narrow wing. The wing is pointed, grooved on its lower side and curved in apical direction. . A second rib on the whorl may be present. The siphon is spine-like and curved. The teleoconch consists of about 11 whorls, in which ornament changes from axial ribs to spiral keels. The protoconch has a low dome-shaped embryonic whorl and a conical larval shell with rounded whorls, and is more than 1 mm high with 3.5 to 4 whorls.
