Diagnoza

Elements ornamented with longitudinal striae, usually best developed close to the panderodont furrow, external margins smooth.

Porównanie

The size of the elements increases significantly through the Mójcza section. The oldest known specimens are more robust than typical ones, with shorter cusps and oval cross-section. In this respect they somewhat resemble Cornuodus elements.

Występowanie geograficzne

Międzygorz and Zalesie. 

Zasięg czasowy

From 0.8 m below the discontinuity (L. variabilis Zone) up to l,4 m above the
bentonite (A. tvacrensis Zone). Reported occurrences in the Baltic area and South China are within this time span.
