Gatunek typowy Opis The holotype of the type species has been lost and its illustration is specifically undeterminable. Somewhat arbitrarily Lindström (1971) suggested that it may be a senior synonymm of his P. inconstans. It seems reasonable to follow his choice and to consider the type population of the latter species to be the reference standard for the genus.
