| Diagnoza Shell rather small, slightly to markedly transverse, ventribiconvex; maximal width at 2/3 - 4/5 of the length, maximal thickness in the posterior region; dorsal valve convex, with sulcus appearing near the umbo, very narrow and slit-like posteriorly, gradually broadening towards the anterior commissure; dorsal umbo fine and delicate, incurved; ventral valve pyramidal, distinctly triangular in anterior view; ornamentation of thin radial costae and costellae, those in the centre of each valve straight, the lateral ones bending abaxially, separated by wider furrows. Porównanie This is one of the characteristic though not abundant forms in the Givetian beds of the Holy Cross Mountains; German specimens are with a slightly lower ventral interarea, and a somewhat smaller ventral beak.
