Spinodus spinatus (Hadding, 1913)

Sugerowana cytacja: Moczyński 2018. Spinodus spinatus (Hadding, 1913) Ikonoteka (http://ikonoteka.paleo.pan.pl/xwiki/bin/view/Species/Spinodus+spinatus)

Diagnoza

All the elements of the apparatus with few, but very long denticles with rounded crosssections , their size and shape being similar to the cusp.

Porównanie

LiNDSTROM(1964) proposing his apparatus reconstruction made it clear that HADDlNG'S Cordylodus spinatus and C. ramosus represent the same species. The former name was chosen by LINDSTROM (1964 ) as valid for the apparatus species and myself (DZIK 1976 ) for the type species of the genus. There is thus no need to replace it with the latter one, as proposed by NOWLAN (1981 ).
Among broken specimens from Mójcza no tr one have been found. In an attempt to reconstructits apparatus  I used also data from the Baltic Ordovician and from the literature.
