Opis

Long, multispiral teleoconch. Whorls rounded. Protoconch hyperstrophic, coaxial. First teleoconch whorl with four or more spiral ribs. Spiral ribs on early whorls crossed by weaker axial ribs or threads. Later axial ornamentation disappearing. A juvenile specimen of type species exhibits a heterostrophic protoconch of the mathildid type.
