Crossostoma spirata Bandelet al., 2000, from Early/Mid Jurassic of New Zealand differs in having the spiral lirae on the whole surface of the juvenile whorl and a much more flattened apex. Moreover, in having axial lamellae on the whorls resembles, some species of Recent Solariella.
