Opis

Diagnosis. - Siphuncle with considerably inflated connecting rings and well developed deposits subdivided into radial blocks; protoconch exceeding IQ mm in diameter; long and straight shell with siphuncle between shell center and ventral  side.
Remarks. - The Actinoceratina differ from the orthoceratid families Pseudorthoceratidae and Sactoceratidae exclusively in protoconch size and consequent minimum diameter of the siphuncle. Presumably, this is a polyphyletic group.
