Alternognathus beulensis Ziegler et Sandberg, 1984 from from the P. trachytera Zone at Ściegnia and the L. styriacus Zone at Miedzianka and Ostrówka in the Holy Cross Mountains.

Wide platform ornamented with ridges and nodes.

Porównanie

This is the most advanced species of the Alternognathus lineage, probable a successor of A. regularis and this is consistent with the stratigraphic succession of these species in the Holy Cross Mountains.

Although the non-platform elements of the Alternognathus apparatus are of a rather generalized morphology, P₂ elements with their straight long processes may be of some use in determining the generic affinity.
