Diagnoza
Wide platform ornamented with ridges and nodes. Porównanie
This is the most advanced species of the Alternognathus lineage, probable a successor of A. regularis and this is consistent with the stratigraphic succession of these species in the Holy Cross Mountains. Although the non-platform elements of the Alternognathus apparatus are of a rather generalized morphology, P2 elements with their straight long processes may be of some use in determining the generic affinity.
