Diagnoza Shell with a narrow umbilicus, do not showing the preceding whorls; delicate, transverse ribs, slightly convex towards the front, bifurcating a short distance from the umbilicus, fine concentric striation. Porównanie Intermediate form between Cravenoceras nitidum and C. stellarum, as well as C. fragile and Nuculoceras nuculum, by the fineness of the radial striation and by the weak opening of its umbilicus; similar to N. nuculum in concentric striation, which is manifested by crenulations on the radial ribs in quite a number of specimens, but differs in the lack of any spiral ornament.
