Rodzina Cyrtoclymeniidae
Opis Diagnosis. — Simple septum in mature conchs lacking any vaulted areas; generalized conch morphology ranging from moderately involute to moderately evolute. Remarks. — The only difference between Cyrtoclymenia and Platyclymenia is a more evolute conch of the latter. There is a complete gradation between these conch geometries and the conch evoluteness is hardly a character deserving distinction at the family rank. The family Platyclymeniidae Wedekind, 1914 is therefore not used here. It may be also a matter of dispute whether acute venter is enough to define the family Rectoclymeniidae Schindewolf, 1923.
