 The only specimen from Kowala has been already illustrated by Schindewolf (1944, 1959; as Discoclymenia kayseri) and Becker (2002). Stratigraphic distribution of other members of the group (classified by him in Alpinites) suggest that this was a lineage evolving towards more and more oxyconic conch.
