Diagnoza Thin pachyconic juvenile conch becoming thick disk shaped; umbilicus moderately wide; its edge initially rounded; ornamentation with 30 short, very weak ribs on the umbilical edge and fine biconvex growth lines with deep external sinus. Porównanie Similar to Gastrioceras angustum and G. carbonarium but the conch narrower with a narrow umbilicus differs in the disappearance of the umbilical ribs at a much earlier ontogenetic stage; conch of G. adleri (Patteisky, 1965) has very strong, rib-like growth lines.
