Diagnoza The last coil is very high and largely covers the previous ones; the spire has a pointed apex and coils that rapidly increase in width. The flanks are slightly convex, the seams clear. No sculpture is present, growth lines are indistinct. They appear to run prosocyrt from the adapical suture to the center of the base. The aperture is broadly oval with an adapical point and abapical rounding. The outer lip is strong and uniformly convex. Porównanie Natica verneuili d'Archiac, 1843 is very similar but not as wide in relation to height, the spire is slimmer and taller. Nerita ponderosa Piette, 1855 has a spire that is barely visible from the side and the last coil is significantly higher in relation to its width. Natica grandis Goldfuss, 1844 sensu Morris & Lycett 1851 (syn. Globularia lycetti Cox & Arkell, 1950) has a clear ramp on the last turn.
