Diagnoza

The elements P1-P2 with a very deep basal cavity and rudimentaril y denticulated processes; inner processes of the elements of the symmetry transition series denticulated with minute, sharp alternating denticles, remaining processes being more or less reduced.

Only type species recognised.

Występowanie geograficzne

A species characteristic of cold-water seas of the Late Ordovician, known
from the whole Mediterranean Realm as well as from the Baltic area and South China.

Zasięg czasowy

Late Ordovician. At Mójcza it appears by migration 0.2 m below the top of the massive limestone (A. superbus to ordovicicus transition)
