 Type species: Chenopus (Monocuphus) camelus Piette, 1876; Bathonian, France.Diagnosis: Oval, fusiform shell with elongated channeled aperture. The anterior canal is short, usually straight; the posterior canal missing or thickened; the left lip slightly callous; right lip winged, sinuous.
