Diagnoza

Wide umbilicus; flanks of the conch rounded, merge evenly into the narrow ventral side; a shallow exter furrow visible near the aperture; suture line variable  but there is always a median saddle of about 1/3 height of the external lobe present; nucleus of the last coil shows three wide, flat, double-arched constrictions.

Porównanie

The lineage, probably ancestral to Entogonites, does not appear before the late Visean, represented by N. vittiger with evolute conchs
