Opis

Type species: Phragmophora schnuri Cooper, 1955: Gerolstein, Eifel; Mid Devonian, Eifelian.
Valves subquadrate, medium-sized, unisulcate to rectimarginate with long, straight ventral interarea; delthyrium covered by variably developed notodeltidium with minute apical foramen; cardinal process bilobed, expanded, and medially cleft; fulcral plates developed in adult shells.
