Distinctly tabulate venter even in juvenile specimens, narrow umbilicus.

Porównanie

Tips of auricles are located somewhat dorsally to the tabulate venter, where they sometimes leave a shallow furrow on the phragmocone internal mould. In this respect the species is different from P. dorsoplanum, its probable successor.
