Diagnoza Obtusely conical protoconch. Shell with wide whorls and possessing adapical ramp perpendicular to shell axis. Below angulation, teleoconch ornamented with strong, wide axial ribs (17–18 per whorl) and spiral ribs (4–5 per whorl). Peristome ellipsoidal with rounded anterior channel. Columellar lip with narrow callus. Porównanie Differs from P. formosa in having wider whorls, a perpendicular adapical ramp and a more weakly expressed anterior channel.
