Opis

Wąski marginalny syfon o cylindrycznych grubych ściankach, długa muszla zwinięta w spiralę w kierunku głowy (egzogastrycznie).

Diagnosis. - Exogastrically coiled shell with elongated body chamber, cylindrical siphuncle,and large protoconch.
Remarks. - The Tarphyceratida resemble in morphology some Oncoceratida and Nautilida,but differ in their elongated body chamber, ornamentation, and siphuncular structure. Homeomorphs
may occur.
