Opis

Wąski marginalny syfon o cylindrycznych grubych ściankach, długa muszla zwinięta w spiralę w kierunku głowy (egzogastrycznie).

Exogastrically coiled shell with elongated body chamber, cylindrical siphuncle,and large protoconch.
The Tarphyceratida resemble in morphology some Oncoceratida and Nautilida,but differ in their elongated body chamber, ornamentation, and siphuncular structure.
