| Diagnoza Porównanie The shell is highly trochospiral with coils set off from one another like a staircase. The selenizone lies on the edge between the almost horizontal adapical area and vertical abapical part of the coil. On the early coils, the selenizone is followed by two adapical and three abapical spiral ribs, crossed by axial ribs that run strongly prosoclin on both sides of the selenizone. The last 1.5 turns are without sculpture. The transition to the barely convex base is formed by a rounded edge. It is only deposited against the flank by a shallow furrow. Several spiral ribs run on it. The base is evenly covered with spiral ribs. The umbilicus is wide and deep and gradually merges into the base. Trochotoma affinis Eudes-Deslongchamps, 1843 has a similar shape of the shell but differs in a lower spire, the complex sculpture on early coils and the absence of spiral and axial ribs on the last coils.
