Diagnoza

Porównanie

The single pyritized specimen representing juvenile portion of the phragmocone and made the type of Czarnocki’s Flexiclymenia fundifera shows conch evoluteness and suture making it indistinguishable from those of A. ancestralis. Obviously, until mature conchs are found in the Holy Cross Mountains, this species identification remains tentative.

Despite its small size, a true vaulting near the margin of the septum is developed, with the tip of the flank lobe extending significantly deeper than the nearby area of the septum. In this respect the species is transitional between A. humboldti and species of Cymaclymenia.
