Opis

Shell transversely semioval, coarsely costellate valves with narrowly divergent delthyrium variably open or closed by apical plate; ventral interarea subpyramidal, apsacline to catacline; ventral interior with recessive dental plates; dorsal interior with ridgelike cardinal process and long rodlike brachiophores; cruralium long, narrowing anteriorly; fulcral plates absent.
