Diagnoza

Sclerites chiefly three-armed, with vertical processes bearing a small anchor at the point of intersection. The tips are flat and perforated.

Porównanie

From the living Paelopatides quadridens the present species differs by lower proportion of sclerites with perforated terminations in relation to the ones without perforation. Also the extant forms have a slightly different shape of the anchor, and the ends of the arms are usually provided with a few spines in various orientation.
