Diagnoza

Ventral valve very small, strongly convex, semi-elliptical in outline, postero-lateral extremities alate; ornamentation of strong radial costae and costellae appearing by intercalation, 3-4 per mm, growth lines continue through the costae and costellae, the ornamentation thus taking a 'reticulate' aspect.
