Diagnoza The lateral surface is inclined somewhat abapically, the umbilicus is quite wide. The top is ornamented with an adapical row of numerous tubercles, about 35 on the last coil of the smaller specimen. They become larger and more extensive in the course of ontogeny. They protrude slightly above the surface of the convolution in side view so that the area between the row of tubercles and the adapical suture is concave. The top (including the tubercles) is covered with spiral ribs. The side surface is slightly convex and completely covered with spiral ribs. These are crossed by equally strong or slightly stronger opisthocyrte axial ribs (or reinforced growth lines) and weakly tubercular. The border of the umbilicus forms a series of strong tubercles (approx. 20), which are also covered with spiral ribs. Porównanie Straparollus sapho d'Orbigny, 1853 has axial ribs on the upper side that form nodes on the edge to the lateral side (only approx. 17 on the last turn), the number of tubercles on the underside is also smaller and the lateral side lacks the lattice of spiral and axial ribs.
