Gatunek typowy Opis Orthostrophic protoconch, highly conical, with angular to rounded, convex whorls. Sculpture consisting of network of intersecting spiral and strong axial riblets. Transition to teleoconch abruptly terminated, with varix and basal, subsutural sinuosity of outer lip. Teleoconch turriculate with convex to flattened whorls.
