Diagnoza Elongate shell, 2.6 times as high as broad. Suture incised. Ornament consisting of four granulated spiral ribs and weakly prosocline axial ribs. Porównanie Cryptaulax undulata (Eudes−Deslongchamps, 1842) has five spiral ribs and pisthocyrtic axial ribs. Cerithium muricatum var. trilineatum Hudleston, 1889 most probably represents another species. Procerithium (Rhabdocolpus) muricatum sensu Gründel (1974) has more rounded and wider whorls.
