On the last coil, a keel with large humps runs below the seam to the penultimate turn. The second keel is missing, the flank flows smoothly into the convex base. At least six somewhat weaker crenulated spiral ribs follow the keel towards. Much weaker spiral ribs can be formed between them. Cuphotifer hamulus (Eudes-Desongchamps, 1843) differs in the formation of spiral ribs between the adapical seam and the keel of the last coil, the stronger keel and the more numerous spiral ribs between the keel and the center of the base.
