Dollymae guizhouensis Wang et Wang, 1978

Sugerowana cytacja: Dzik J. 2014. Dollymae guizhouensis Wang et Wang 1978. Ikonoteka (http://ikonoteka.paleo.pan.pl/xwiki/bin/view/Species/Dollymae+guizhouensis)

Diagnoza

Undenticulated, tranversely widened basal cone in Pelements, additional denticulation ventrally of the cusp.

Porównanie

The incipient denticulation below the cusp makes this very rare latest Famennian species unlike other species of Pelekysgnathus. As noticed already by Over (1992), the lateral expansion of the base suggests that this may be the beginning of the lineage represented in the Tournaisian by Dollymae bouckaerti Groessens, 1977 and Eotaphrus bultyncki, subsequently diversified into elaborate Carboniferous forms.
