Opis

Shell flat disc-shaped with a sharpened external side, umbilicus very narrow; ornamentation of fine, biconvex and rectiradiat growth strips; shell constrictions occurring regularly in middle stages, first concave-convex and prorsidiate, later biconvex and rectiradiate; fine umbilical ribs when young, some species are also ribbed in the middle stage; in middle stages simple or double ventrolateral longitudinal furrow, umbilical edge protruding like a wreath; suture with a broad external lobe, the flanks of which diverge sharply; median saddle of medium height, ventrolateral saddle narrowly rounded; adventitious lobe V-shaped with barely curved flanks.
