Lobotornoceras bicaniculatum Petter, 1959 from the Famennian of Algeria.

Opis

Diagnosis. — Generalized tornoceratid conch with ventrolateral furrows at early developmental stages; suture with a deep, symmetrical flank lobe and a tendency to developed dorsolateral lobe. 

Remarks. — Gundolficeras seems to be the first link in the tornoceratid lineage leading to more and more complex suture, terminating in the acutely discoidal Discoclymenia.
