Diagnoza A homoceratid with forwardly-projecting small plications at the umbilical edge, from which arise by both bi- or trifurcation and intercalation fine striae which cross the flanks and venter; 4 to 6 constrictions per whorl up to 25 mm. diameter. Suture with wide ventral lobe and low median saddle. Porównanie Differs from all the other species of Homoceras in that the small, forwardly-directed plications at the umbilical edge break up into three or four fine striae on the flanks and across the venter. Both intercalation and definite bifurcation takes place at the ventrad end of the plications and this structure is fundamentally different from H. eostriolatum and H. henkei in which there is no bifurcation and only very rare intercalation Autekologia Występowanie geograficzne Ireland (Clare Co.), Great Britain (Devonshire, Lancashire.
