Diagnoza Late coils have a keel located approximately in the middle. The contour of both sides of the keel is concave. The cusps are initially large, wide (approx. 9 per turn) and extend like ribs abapically. On the last coil they become increasingly smaller and more numerous and at the end apparently disappear completely. The whole coil, including the base, is densely covered with spiral ribs. Porównanie Closely similar Pietteia callamus Gründel, 2001 is much slimmer, finely ornamented and with two strong spiral ribs that give octoconal contour. Pietteia seminudum (Hébert & Eudes-Deslongchamps, 1860) is slimmer as well, coils are higher and Arial rias are less numerous but stronger.
