Diagnoza

Mature whorls significantly higher than wide; umbilicus covering less than one third of the conch diameter; juvenile whorls with sharp ribs on flanks.

Porównanie

Czarnocki classified this species in Cyrtoclymenia, but it is so close to P. lagowiensis that it remains uncertain whether it does not fall in the range of its population variability. Platyclymenia inflata Czarnocki, 1989 probably also represents this species.
