Opis

Shell dorsibiconvex with valves normally transversely semioval, weakly uniplicate; ventral interior with strong teeth and dental plates extending forward as ridges laterally confining ventral muscle field; dorsal interior with prominent, crenulated cardinal process; dorsal diductor scar petaloid and equidimensional.
