Rodzina Strachanognathidae Bergström, 1982

Opis

Apparatus composed of simple coniform elements of approximately uniform size with smooth gradation of shapes and flattened cusps, forming a single symmetry transition series.
The family differs from the Belodellidae and Panderodontidae in the lack of any prominent size gradient in the apparatus, from the Scolopodontidae in less robust appearance of elements and from the Protopanderodontidae in having only a single symmetry transition series in the apparatus.
