Homoceratoides hoeferi Patteisky in Folprecht, 1929 = Sudeticeras wilczeki Patteisky, 1928

Opis

Shell thick discoidal, similar to that of some Goniatites species but the suture is a little more primitive in that the ventrolateral sadle is not pointed, umbilicus very narrow to narrow in all stages; ornamentation with serrated growth lines, biconvex and rectiradiate; some species with spiral stripes; lobe line with moderately wide external lobe; median saddle of medium height, ventrolateral saddle narrowly rounded; adventitious lobe V-shaped with slightly curved flanks. Probably originated from Beyrichoceras.
