Diagnoza

Teleoconch broadly cone-shaped with bulging whorls,  1.43 times as high as broad. Protoconch coaxial, smooth. Teleoconch starting with 3–4 spiral  ribs and densely packed orthocline axial ribs. Number of spiral ribs increasing during ontogeny. Surface of teleoconch covered by spiral microornamentation.

Porównanie

The similar Campanian Tuba mississippiensis (Dockery, 1993) differs in  having a higher number of primary spiral ribs, of which three become more prominent than the others during further growth.

Only in type locality.

Valanginian (Early Cretaceous).
