Diagnoza

Conoidal shell. Juvenile whorls ornamented with weak axial ribs. On second  whorl of teleoconch axial ribs becoming stronger; three spiral ribs appearing. Lowermost rib strongest. At intersection of spiral and axial ribs, thorn−like nodes appear.


Porównanie

Turcica clathrata (Lahusen,1883) differs in having less thorn−like nodes and an expanded, angulated body whorl.

Autekologia


Występowanie geograficzne

Łuków (block in glacial drift), Gnaszyn and Blanowice, both near Częstochowa, Poland.

Zasięg czasowy

Bathonian to Callovian.

Materiały muzealne

One conch (MZ VIII Mg 4233/1) from Łuków (block in glacial drift), Poland; one  shell  (ZPAL  Ga.9/131)  from  Gnaszyn, and one shell (MZ VIII Mg 4224/1) from Blanowice.
