Diagnoza (provisory): Large-shelled species of Zophostrophia with very weak radial ornamentation. Porównanie Internal structures remain unknown therefore genus level placement is provisional. The material from Schleddenhof near Iserlohn (Rhenish Slate Mts.) described by Torley (1908) may partly represent this species. Differs from Zophostrophia ungmanica Veevers, 1959 (Frasnian of Australia) in slightly larger size and less pronounced radial ornamentation. Externally similar to Leptodontella lanthanomena Halamski, 2009 occurring in the same outcrop, from which it differs in the lack of tongue. It is very similar to Radiomena irregularis (Roemer 1844), from which it differs in shape of the ventral valve (rather convex not geniculate) and ornamentation (parvicostellate in Radiomena irregularis).
