Porównanie

The species has been suggested by Groessens (1914) to be a homeomorph of unrelated older Dollymae hassi Voges,1959 for which the generic name Icriognathodus Gedik, 1984 is available. Its distribution elsewhere suggests that it may be reworked from strata deposited immediately below the invasion of the S. anchoralis fauna.
